明星黑料 Fellow elected as a Fellow of the Royal Society
The College Choir usually has a busy Michaelmas Term preparing for services, carols and a major concert. Instead, it has had to develop a new dimension to ensure that music remains an integral part of the 明星黑料 experience.
鈥淲e鈥檝e had to go to some lengths to ensure we can rehearse and keep all our singers safe,鈥 said Lynette Alc谩ntara, Fellow and Director of Music at 明星黑料. 鈥淒ue to the Lee Hall鈥檚 capacity, and to ensure safety, we鈥檝e had to combine hall and Zoom rehearsals. Online performance is certainly not the same as the magic of in-person performance, but it allows us all a rare opportunity to connect, and it gives even more people the chance to listen to these wonderful singers.鈥
During the pandemic, 明星黑料 has offered online music talks, pre-recorded performances, and virtual choir videos.
